Manufacturing leaves us with surplus and cosmetically imperfect stock: a scuffed corner, an off-cut size, a run we over-ordered. It writes and erases exactly like the boards we sell. Rather than warehouse it, we send it to public schools that ask for it.
There is no essay to write and no photos of your classroom required. Tell us your school’s name, where you are, and roughly what you need. If we have it, we ship it.
How it Works
A school emails us its name, its location, and what its classrooms need. How many boards, what shape they are in, which rooms they are in.
We set aside surplus and cosmetically imperfect stock through the year. These are boards that write and erase fine but did not pass cosmetic inspection.
We ship what we have: whiteboard film, calendars, and surfaces for boards, tables, and desks. If we do not have what you need right now, we say so and keep you on the list.
The school installs it. If a teacher wants to send a photo of the finished room afterward, we would love to see it, but it is not a condition of anything.
Why we do this
We make more product than we sell perfectly. Boards come off the line with a scuffed corner or an off-cut size, and they work exactly as well as the ones we charge for. Sending them to a school that can use them is a better outcome than storing them or scrapping them.
It is not charity, and we would rather not dress it up as one. It is surplus inventory going somewhere useful.
Who this is for
Public schools, first. If you are a teacher, a facilities director, or a principal working with a budget that is already spoken for, this program exists for you.
Most of our work with schools is not donated. It is paid work at a price schools can afford, which is the whole point of resurfacing instead of replacing. This program is for the cases where even that does not fit the budget this year.
